The Idaho Small Estate Affidavit Vehicle Form is an affidavit provided by the Idaho Transportation Department. The form is restricted to use within the state of Idaho, is to be filled 30 days after the death of the decedent and can be used only if the value of the entire estate of the decedent doesn’t exceed $100,000. The claimant has to be over 18 years of age to qualify as a witness.
How to Fill this Form?
- We begin this form by mentioning accurate details of the vehicle in question – VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), title number, year of manufacture, make/manufacturer and model of the vehicle in question.
- Then, details of the decedent are required – name and resident county of the deceased person, the county and state where the decedent passed away and the exact date of death.
- An affidavit for Idaho Certificate of Title is attached to this form. The following details must be entered rightfully under penalty of perjury – claimant’s full legal name, his/her relationship with the decedent, daytime phone number, full detailed address inclusive of city, state and zip code.
- The date along with the claimant/affiant’ signature is needed. This affidavit does not need to be notarized.
